Homeward Bound Program
Our short-term unit, Parkview, offers a specialized physical rehab program created by experts in the field of physical rehabilitation for our homeward bound patients. Each patient is evaluated by our team of highly trained physical, occupational, and speech therapists working with our nurses and your doctor so that we can provide personalized therapy regiments and medical care.
The program is overseen, coordinated, and maintained by our expert physiatrist, Dr. Ricardo Knight of Integrative Rehab Specialists and Dr. Chanda Mayo-Ford of the Marianjoy Medical Group. Weekly meetings allow our medical staff, therapy team, and social services manager the opportunity to discuss each patients’ progress, attend to individual needs, and provide discharge plans. We work diligently to return patients to their optimal functional level and return home safely.
